A cacophony of humanity; lots of themes tackled here but I don’t know if each theme was thoroughly explored enough to justify including. Human kind sucks, we are all multifaceted, colonization, purist politics, capitalism, self worth. I should have watched this movie earlier in the day because I think I was too tired to fully process. I’ll give it credit though; this was a really unique experience. I can’t think of a movie I’ve seen in recent memory that made me feel the way this one did. A chaotic cocktail that made me reflect. Respect to Bong Joon-Ho!

Meet the Robinsons 2007
Admittedly, I turned this on because I felt like a failure and needed some positive reassurance to “keep moving forward”. Despite the fact that this film ages its self and totally feels like it was made in the early 2000s, I’m moved by the gravity and sincerity of the messaging. Tears were shed!
