  This was surprisingly really fun and quite endearing? It's so early 2000s it's like a time capsule of editing and cinematography. Also every so often Cary Elwes accent just doesn't hold up which is another star in it's own right

  So dumb. So silly. Honestly better than it really deserves to be?
  I totally see how it's so divisive, it's ultimately an homage to a genre of films that I've never seen but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the same. Every actor plays this so straight which really plays into the absurdity of it all. There's one 'jumpscare' which is absolutely not a jump scare which absolutely fucked me. Fuck that one scare and fuck that monkey.

  Full confession, I was supposed to see Nosferatu but chickened out.
  This was incredible. From the writing, to the performances, to the cinematography, to the direction - it's all impeccable and utterly gripping. I know that saying this movie is good is hardly noteworthy but I loved this. A film I will undoubtedly return to again and again.

  This is genuinely the worst movie I've ever seen. We only watched this because it was leaving prime soon. If you ever consider watching this, please don't. This isn't a 'so bad it's good' film. It's a 'so bad it's awful' film.
