  I've always had soft spot for this film. I'm not sure why I like this movie as much as I do. Maybe it’s because of the sound track. Or maybe it’s because it fulfills the cool, outcast, loaner, new kid fantasy. Or maybe it's because being born of the 80s and a child of the 90s movies I have a fondness for films from this era. Of all the things I don't know one thing I do is this couldn't have been made now. This movie is firmly a film of the 90s.

  I have no idea why I always wait to watch films I know I'm going to really enjoy. It's so easy for me to watch junk like Escape Plan but when it's something I know I will enjoy it takes me way too long to get around to watching it. Note to self...stop watching junk and get back to the good stuff.
