Do the Right Thing 1989
Heartbroken and disappointed that this film rings as true today as it did 30 some years ago on its release. It’s difficult for me to put into words, but we’re all just people trying to get by on a scorching hot summer’s day. Love and respect each other. Advocate for your neighbors and friends. All in all, just do the right thing.
On a lighter note, the LOVE/HATE scene may be an all timer for me- wowza.

My first (and definitely not last) Miyazaki film. No wonder why people consider him the GOAT. I feel as though Spirited Away will age like a fine wine, only getting better each time. Already planning a rewatch on the next rainy, gloomy, do-nothing day
