I’m pretty all in when it comes to bank robbery and or heist movies. But I have to say, Johnny Utah had to have been one of the worst FBI agents of all time.

This was recommended to me two years ago as one of the few noteworthy Thanksgiving movies. And every year the holiday passes and I feel like I couldn’t watch it out of season.
This movie is DIRECTLY up my alley. I can’t wait to watch this every year 😭

It’s really confusing that this isn’t more in the conversation for SERIOUS Oscar contention. I understand, it depends on the years/movies that have come out, but this was truly so awesome and in most years would compete. And leading the charge, Colman Domingo, he shines in this one. And with so many of the characters playing themselves? 85% of the cast were formerly incarcerated??
Such a sad story, but it is still able to sprinkle in beauty and humor.
