Absolutely THRILLED with this. Pretty much everything I want out of an espionage thriller: Hot actors, cold blood, plans and counterplans. Finally some good fucking food.

I enjoyed this a lot...but I still think it might be my least favorite Bong Joon-ho movie? (I've seen everything aside from BARKING DOGS NEVER BITE) Succeeds on the strength of some really fabulous performances. Funny, looks good, pretty cool...just not much more than the sum of its parts.
(also got NERVOUS toward the end that Bong had really scooped me on the thing I'm writing, but I emerged mostly unscathed)
