  Whomever decided to have Manish Dayal be SOAKING wet not once not twice but FOUR times needs a raise

  also the book was so awful and gross glad this got that Oprah treatment and became wholesome and beautiful and cozy and golden and warm

  I enjoyed Anthony Hopkins and young Paul's interactions. I'd watch a short only about this relationship and rate it 5 stars. Anne Hathaway, as always, is an incredible actress.

  However, I thought the movie as a whole was unnecessary. Specifically, if this film focused on portraying the complex relationships within the family, I would've liked it much better. I found the side plot about Paul's friendship with Johnny problematic and unnecessary in terms of contributing something valuable to cinematic explorations…
