  Unfortunately my first viewing of Good Will Hunting is through a 2025 lens.

  Robin Williams steals the show.

  With strong performances from the rest of the cast some of the monologues just took me straight out of this one.

  Time spent wondering why any of the main cast agreed to be in this is better than watching The Gorge

  If you went in with expectations I could see this being a HUGE letdown 

  I went in with 0 knowledge of the premise, didn’t see the trailer, I knew it was horror and Nick Cage was in it.

  cinematography: 11/10 

  I loved the look and vibe of this film.  In the theater the creepy parts were extra creepy, but this falls in the same realm as “late night with the devil” where it’s a cool premise that is executed in a low budget/ Indy / made for TV  way. 

  Nic Cage rocks though…
