Thought I had seen this before, but it turns out the syndicated TV version, in addition to adding CGI bras in every other scene, cuts out like thirty minutes of this movie?? Wouldn’t you know it, everything makes a lot more sense unedited!
I liked when Adam Sandler did his little tap dance in the aisle of the supermarket—how charming! I also liked all the phone calls (shout out to miss Georgia Peach; the Sandler-Hoffman confrontation had me giggling) and all the hectic workplace scenes (Luis!!!!!; when Sandler smashes the handles of the fun-gers I screamed [positive]). Imagine if this came out now and every online thinkpiece was about neurodivergence… just kidding, I don’t want to imagine that!
