The public transportation scenes in this film feel horrifyingly familiar. Enjoyed the sympathetic take on mental illness and the speed at which Gotham descended into chaos feels realistic.

Turning Red 2022
There's definitely a lot more here for someone who is or was a teenage girl, and I'm glad it exists for the people it will resonate with. Didn't feel like it offered anything particularly special (unlike Pixar of old but very like Pixar today) but it is still always endearing to glance into someone's experience with the family as a part of life. Also Mei's dad is a king.
