sometimes.....(quite often) the acting and the music is quite on the nose, which makes it good for a smaller age imo(besides some jokes)
but not john candy, he is soo natural and he plays this role so good, i liked his character from the beggining to the end
and the story is really nice, and it reminds us of the beauty in each one of us

I reccomend seeing it as more of a Visualizer, Music Video or Concert Movie for the songs rather than the music being the soundtrack of this anime. It will make more sense that way.
I really felt for Shep. Shep is best guy.
Some things are a bit weird story-wise, but they wrap up beautifully at the end.

Maybe it doesnt have the cool factor, but does that mean that if it doesnt have it, it doesnt deserve 5 stars? Well, i think it does. Maybe it's not cool, but it's real. They could've made the movie about the kidnapping of the Swiss ambasador or the experience of the oldest daughter throughout all of this, or they could've made it about the husband's experience in that whole masquerade of a system.
