  Overacted IRL anime with a should-be phenomenal cast that are embarrassing to watch. 

  Try hard twists you see coming from a mile away.

  Mark Ruffalo’s poorest performance to date. I don’t think he’s even trying to do a trump impression, he is just terrible in this role. Toni Collette also phones it in/hams it up, I’m still not sure which.

  I can’t fathom how the bridge scene was made 50 years ago. 

  Or how much nitroglycerin literally every other scene used. 

  Or even the car crash. 

  Or how they must have just lit and oil rig on fire. 

  It’s all so real it’s insane.

  Takes the series and makes the apes dumb again and humans secretly brilliant people who have remembered everything ever despite not being able to talk until recently. 

  Say apes together strong but no apes work together, instead they just call friggin hawks they don’t use for the rest of this boring drawn out film which tries it’s best to steal everything good from the last three while managing to detract from its meaning and making it a boring convoluted mess. 

  Dumb.
