  While unrealistic, a unique human quality underlies the time battered plot. A life we all hope to live, levity in times of pain and difficulty. Life is unpredictable and death is inevitable. Perhaps an examination of what you prioritize when faced with death, and how each choice made has a number of consequences (both good and bad). While time was unraveled, choices were made cohesive, and things couldn’t be easily categorized as “worth it” or not. Unsatisfying, but in the exact way life can be. Not focusing on the finality of death, but rather the reality of life. 

  Also the subtle nod at bisexuality was slay.
