  Hated how they girlbossified veronica in the added songs. THE OFF BROADWAY VERSION WOULD NEVER !! that is nottttt veronica. Barretts vibes ground the musical and without her or someone like her it crumbles

  hmmm.

  -i think things i’ve been pondering about is draw of (illusion of) american dream and also holding that in tandem with nazis literally used US treatment of immigrants as holocaust inspiration which i think is something the film sits with 

  -i didn’t like that the characters were zionists, but did appreciate that a thematic throughline that was drawn was that institutional US sins and hostility is what allowed Israel and settlers to exist— they are inextricably linked from the begining 

  -i don’t really understand architecture i’m sorry

  can’t even judge this as a movie which movie making wise was fine (except the lighting was too dark) but i kept getting distracted by how much i hate everyone and how they are portrayed and them as people and this stupid fucking website
