    wouldn’t expect any less from my boy Edgar! you can soooo tell this is an Edgar Wright movie, especially in the writing and editing. you can def see how this influenced him in his later works such as Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs The World. this have everything you could ask for, it’s hilarious, action packed, gorey, lots of heart. i’m not usually a big zombie movie fan but i did end up really loving this!!

    very poetic and very beautifully shot!! the practical effects in this are VERY impressive considering this came out in 1960!!! definitely on the slower side but that also kind checks out with it being a french horror film from the 60s. the final shot is so beautiful !!
