i love how this movie intertwines the stories of 3 women: prabha, anu, and parvathy. all of them are faced with what seems like hopeless life obstacles. but they are able to bear it thru finding small moments of joy with each other.
i rly appreciated how the movie de-glamorizes mumbai, calling it the "city of illusions". it directly calls into question the ways in which gentrification has unjustly affected many like parvathy, forced to leave the home she built.
all said, a very beautiful & real movie.
