It was an interesting and thought provoking experience, for sure. Though, I think it is also a film that requires a certain suspension of disbelief. What can I say? Rich people suck. 🤷♂️
I really loved this one. Short and intense. It’s a lot of fun. Good performances and cinematography. The music was great and really helped keep the action feeling intense. I also liked its use of classical music.
The writing was also good, some good dialogue and genuinely funny moments. Though, some of the character motivations seem confusing at times.
Overall, a great time.

Every movie I’ve seen by Denis Villeneuve has been masterful and Roger Deakins nailed the cinematography once again. And such great performances by all the actors.
“Sicario” is a tense action packed film that helps to highlight the true brutality of the drug war while also acknowledging the things that the majority of American citizens aren’t even aware of. And without spoiling anything, the final shot of the movie was also moving.
