Finally watched this. Hella inspiring tbh but also agreed with Ben Shapiro….. why did they break up defying gravity!??????!?!?!???!!! Literally kills the momentum and I don’t like Ariana in this. Like esp compared to Kristin chenoweth she’s just not sassy snappy perky enough I just think of blackiana when I look at her. They should’ve cast my girl Dove Cameron as galinda. AND WHY WAS MICHELLE YEOH IN THIS SHE DIDNT DO SHIT AS AN ACTOR AND HER VOICR SUCKS THEY HUST HAD TO ASIANIFY THE CAST FOR EHATTTT

only my second bresson but i’m really seeing the appeal. i think the actor-model/mannequin technique is so interesting, not that i prefer it per se, but i appreciate the ideology behind it: acting is “unnatural,” film is the closest art form to reality, therefore any attempt for actors to convey emotion would be tampering with the purity of the viewing experience, which is why basically all of bresson’s actors are so minimalistic and monotonous. yvon watches his life fall apart…
