Anora 2024
I can’t imagine the cigarette budget for this film..
But seriously, a sad tale about delusion and clinging to delusion that probably won’t even be better than current reality. This movie doesn’t show Anora’s intentions or wants beyond surface level wanting to stay married to a man who paid for her company. I wish it would have dove into her psyche for more. Fast paced, fun watch (despite a quarter of the film being porn), but not too much substance!!

The beauty, whimsy, and connection that this movie creates through such seemingly simplicity is marvelous. This is what romance directors have tried to recreate for years. Makes you want to book a flight to Vienna and go where the streets take you.

Oh boy I can’t wait to watch a new Star Wars movie…oh they’re starting with the bad guys terrorizing a village and a droid needing to carry absolutely critical info…oh we have another guy in a black cape and mask…and the bad guys are destroying whole planets…and we, the good guys, must unequivocally must blow up the bad guys planet..boy do I love an original screenplay!!!

I live in a Godzilla home. I think that in order to like this movie, I needed to be born into the Godzilla lifestyle. Unfortunately this movie was hard to follow but has hilarious fight sequences. Why were some aliens killable and not others?? Why is homeboy saying I love you to a cyborg he JUST met?? Interpol was involved?? I do love when Godzilla looks like Barney’s cousin.
