I don't know why I never watched "Brokeback Mountain". There was a shortlist of movies I knew to be considered 'modern classics' and/or prestigious Oscar nominees like this movie, "Slumdog Millionaire", "The Notebook", and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" from the 2000s that I just never saw and the time between their release and the present day just kept growing and growing. While I recognize that the movie Clueless is an adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma", at least that movie makes it crystal clear what work they are adapting from. THIS movie lifts a lot of scenes, plot points, and aesthetics from "Clueless" in the following ways and I have never heard the movie or Amy Heckerling or costume designer Mona May ever given any credit. "Clueless" was released in 1995, this movie in 2001.

I grew up with this one. It seems like most LB users grew up with "White Chicks" or maybe "Scary Movie", but I grew up with this one. I kind of grew up with "Scary Movie" but I don't remember liking it really. This is the one that I associate with growing up.
