  ok unpopular opinion… this film is a masterclass in general filmmaking and acting BUT i find the fun games (haha) that haneke plays with the audience to lack much intellectual or insightful value. the fourth wall breaking is not provocative and did not, at least for me, inspire any further reflection on haneke’s messages during the runtime. it’s also possible that this narrative is less exciting in a world already full of sickeningly grim films and audiences that understand the…
