    What an insufferable man
What a sexist and misogynistic movie

Am I supposed to be fine with all that? As an adult woman..?

To find that jerk endearing and moving?

To awe at his lame, half-baked, barely insulting "turnaround"..?

    Yeah.... No

    That's not gonna happen

Just throw the whole man away, there's nothing worth salvation there

And, also, when he express his frustration about not being allowed to touch his girlfriend breast..?

Trying again and again and again

Yeah... that's rape culture, right there

... What a complete garbage of a movie

Many people have a whole lot of things to say about Ryan Reynolds, sure

But I, personally, love the way he loves Marvel (and Blake, of course)

    I mean, he's clearly a nerd

There's no doubt about that, given the time and energy he dedicated to this, decade long, project

    But

Since he's also the cool kid, *he knows* how ridiculous all of it is:

Grown adult in flashy matching suits, overly dramatic poses, super bombastic speeches, etc...

    And that's…

I do like some of Yorgos Lanthimos movies, but damn... did I feel insulted to my very core watching "Poor Things", being a woman

It baffles me that this movie can be referred to as "feminist"

10 minutes into it, and I could foretell that it's written by old white men: checked on Letterboxd for intellectual honesty and... spot on

    So.fucking.misogynistic

And not even original about it: yeeeaaah let's make the pretty woman nakey [BOOOOBIIIES] and continually make her being…
