The Gorge 2025

miles teller & anya taylor joy deliver great performances, but the plot doesn’t seem to anchor on a specific trope and wanders aimlessly (more so in the second half). its evolves from mystery, to romance, to sci-fi, to action—its kind of hard to keep it all in mind.
on the other hand, atticus ross’s score was marvellous and i enjoyed it. the romance was kinda cheesy and hard to watch but i still enjoyed their chemistry. all in all, an okay watch to put on the TV and relax after a hard day’s work, but its certainly not a movie that enables you to think too deeply.Translated from by -

havent even watched fury road, but i loved this movie. tom burke stole the show imo. what a character he was..i wish he had more screen time.anya taylor joy and chris hemsworth were amazing, especially atj’s “eye-acting”—just through her eyes she conveyed so much emotion.

i know that tom hardy and charlize theron had SERIOUS problems on set—thats why i could tell their acting was crazy good LMAO
anyway, the action is insanely good wth: AND IS ANYONE GNA TALK ABOUT NUX?? what a character. his “witness me” to the red haired girl had me gaping. i cant even express this character development in my own words.
and…”my name is max”…bro i know it pained him to say that but its still a peak scene.…
