  This movie reminded me of the basketball anime film, The First Slam Dunk. The structure and stylings are the same - a movie within the framework of one match/game, and flash backs to pivotal moments in time for the main characters in the film. The sounds, sweat, and impacts on the court are amplified to help the audience capture the suspense of the match.
