Really bad but so bad that it’s hilarious, so you’ll get some laughs out of it if you watch it. I will say this serves as a great amount of motivation and encouragement to get into filmmaking. The same guy that directed this ended up being one of the greatest American film directors of all time.

Hard to believe I didn’t like this at one point in time. 2001: A Space Odyssey is spectacularly entrancing for all the reasons you’ve already heard of and then some. The film is a long, confusing, mind-bending trip; the same way our existence is as sentient beings. We try to make sense of the reality, world and universe around us but I feel as the more we learn(maybe just me personally), the less everything makes sense for being the way it is. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?

Corny, incoherent storyline and just plain bad. There might be some truth to Ferrara being a poor man‘s Scorsese.
