  Prepare to dislike the first 20ish minutes of this, but just wait, really still, don't fall asleep. BLAM, it gets better! The movie just gets weirder and weirder to the point where it won me over, and then some. I would watch this again and probably like those first twenty minutes now that I know there is a good movie hidden behind it to look forward to.

  The desert isn't the only thing dry and dusty here, OH! Honestly this isn't a bad movie, but other than a few scenes which really wake you up, you have a serviceable western movie.

  The Matrix 1999

  A game-changer in its day that still impresses me to this watching, the few before, and likely the ones after this review. The Matrix is a pretty well thought out film that also bought a new level of action to the masses. Even today the effects of this movie are seen in modern cinema. Whether you consider this a good or bad thing, its merit is still seen. And although the sequels leave a little more than something to be desired, this first one really outdid it in terms of keeping me interested and engaged.

  I've never really been one to "enjoy" space films, because I seem to have a deep-seated fear of space exploration. Funny, because this is one of the most interesting subjects to me, being one of the main reasons I am reviewing this so favorably. Still, I was nervous throughout.
