Have I seen other movies like this? Sure. Does that change the fact that this was well executed and really enjoyable? Not at all.

John Malkovich was such an insane casting choice and I still can’t believe that was him singing on some of those songs.

I went back and forth on if I thought he was distracting or a hilarious choice. I think the movie in general wasn’t quite as campy as I would’ve liked so his casting seemed…

Unfortunately, this was competently made and not nearly as hilarious and ridiculous as the first. I love Michael Sheen. Excited to see more of him in the series. Where to even begin. I loved it. The body horror was gross, inventive, funny. No notes. Surprisingly emotional moments. Or maybe not so surprising given the nature of the story and overall themes.

Dennis Quaid deserves a supporting Oscar nom at bare minimum. Demi Moore was fantastic. An incredibly vulnerable role and she excelled in every regard.

The ending was so viscerally satisfying.

It crossed my mind that I wanted an ending like this for “I Saw the TV Glow”…
