  truthfully i have no idea how to parse this movie. i paused probably once every 15 minutes or so because i was so overstimulated. i oscillated between annoyance, morbid curiosity and entertained probably once every minute. gregg araki curated a nonsensical derranged mess - and i think i loved it?

  the set designer and whoever did the lighting need to be given a stipend of one billion dollars a week for their work here, for one thing. and the Music???…

  something about escaping comphet being as difficult and dangerous (metaphorically speaking) as untying yourself from the mob really hits the spot!! furthermoreee i was getting flustered during the flirting scenes between violet and corky.... jennifer and gina the women that you are!!!

  what a treat this was!! this is the type of accessible crime movie i can really get down with, and it'll probably become a staple of my late summer night insomnia-watches.

  the critic part of my brain knows that this series reeks of 2017 and didn't cover as much ground as it thinks it did. the other part of my brain saw a beautiful off-putting woman with big eyes and autism swagger killing people. so where does that leave us

  i remember watching friday night frights WAY more as a kid so I wasn't expecting greatness going into this. tell me why it looks camp right in the eye. genuinely was tearing up laughing at this it's SO GOOD
