  did not expect to like this as much as i did! i think it might be the first person-ish camera perspective and muted color grading, but the feeling of being at a crowded sporting event even though we're never actually *in* a crowded sporting event is palpable.
  also the girl in the 1892 hat? icon.

  truthfully i have no idea how to parse this movie. i paused probably once every 15 minutes or so because i was so overstimulated. i oscillated between annoyance, morbid curiosity and entertained probably once every minute. gregg araki curated a nonsensical derranged mess - and i think i loved it?

  the set designer and whoever did the lighting need to be given a stipend of one billion dollars a week for their work here, for one thing. and the Music???…

  i remember watching friday night frights WAY more as a kid so I wasn't expecting greatness going into this. tell me why it looks camp right in the eye. genuinely was tearing up laughing at this it's SO GOOD
