They totally butchered Elphaba's character, which made virtually everything else in the story fall flat. It would be fine if they had gone all the way and written the story differently to match the new Elphaba, but they didn't, so the movie is caught between two worlds, and suffers for it.

Still a good movie but on rewatch some of the flaws became more apparent.
The entire second half of the movie is pretty aimless. Older brother gets sent on a fetch quest that ends up being useless, both for him and the guy who sent him. He doesn't get (or at least use) directions back to camp, and the other guy's gun ends up being worthless. It's just an excuse to spend an extended amount of time with the guys…
Very solid, had tons of awesome moments.
For the most part, extremely good. Plot and character development were good. Acting, dialogue, props were great. Music was fantastic. The scene transitions were probably the best I’ve ever seen.
Pacing was great for the most part. Everything happened very slowly, but this slow pace fit events well and was never boring. Plot made sense, but was never predictable. I kept expecting the movie to follow the horror cliches in some way or another, and they rarely did.
The ending…
