Very enjoyable horror/thriller with supernatural elements of the campy 00s variety (my favorite). This movie skirts the line of "horror/not horror" with a creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere, paranoia, betrayal, some surprisingly awful (though not overly graphic) deaths, and a handful of predictable jump scares.
People seem to get hung up on the paranormal angle and the dated CGI, which I think is a damn shame. The mystery itself is very compelling and I had fun trying to solve it along with the characters.
If you enjoyed movies like Ghost Ship (2002), Thirteen Ghosts (2001), or The Day After Tomorrow (2004), you'll probably like this movie too.
