Awakenings tells a such powerful story that would even blow minds just reading or even hearing about it. That's why watching this story unfold is a very intense experience. Especially the scenes with actual "awakenings" occur is very emotional.
Some of my cliff notes:
Robin Williams again portraits this idealistic, somewhat naive absolute good of a person.
I really liked the dramatic, heartbreaking ending.
Again an american movie with white and black antagonist and protagonist. (referring to the hospital manager and main character)
