Could be the dumbest movie ever made.

Not as dumb as Covenant and Prometheus and therefore an decent horror/action movie.

Not being very fond of jazz makes this a hard one to like in the first place. Adding to that a very simplistic, and stupid, philosophy on "how to be great" and treating music like it's got all to do with being pitch perfect and nothing to do with feelings makes it impossible to like.
But I'll give it one star because it's nicely shot and another for the lead actors who did a great job portraying two kinds of assholes.

One of the best movies in recent years. A unique plot and a fantastic Gyllenhaal as one of the creepiest guys ever should have given this film some Oscars if the world was a fair place. But just as Nightcrawler shows us, it's not.
