It’s good to see that A Christmas Carol is getting a recent anti-capitalist reappraisal pointing out that Scrooge’s volte-face doesn’t really do anything to challenge the status quo or, indeed, really change things for anyone (beyond Tiny Tim who will probably grow up pampered and privileged and want to make a lot of money like his second father Scrooge).
