This movie is about the same subtle inanity of events that occupy the time of people in nowhere Michigan. Much like Napoleon Dynamite except in this movie it reaches a boiling point and continues to boil over again and again in spectacular ways. This movie is punk af and music slaps. Really enjoyed it knowing nothing going in. Big recommendation from me.

London Has Fallen 2016
Nothing good. Set up where they show a bunch of world leaders for the first 1/4. Then it pops off with a few mediocre set pieces of London landmarks being destroyed. Lots of pretty good shooting, bad driving sequence. Film does not do a good job of capturing devastation from drone shots plus CGI black smoke. The Running Man 1987
I think this movie is on par with Starship Troopers. It has the same satire style in the form of entertainment. The spectacle of violence but less of an army slant. The crowd goes silent after their favourite slayer is killed really helps to break the facade of fun and sinks in the gravity of what they are doing.
A solid addition to the dystopian genre.

Mostly yuck.
I thought it was beautifully animated. They did a good job of personfiying her doubts. I can identify with having those kinds of dreams.So if I had to use one word.... Vivid?
