After the entertaining pre-show at the Welly Film Society where me and my friends had a front row seat to hapless unfortunate people walking in with their popcorn only to be unable to find a seat. The stressed volunteers getting more and more frustrated as people came up to them again and again and then unable to help ending quite dramatically with one of them declaring that anyone late to the screening is not a real friend.

The Fabelmans, the perfect name for Spielberg's fictionalised family and the title of the film about them. We're seeing dozens of directors trying out this story, slightly fictionalising their childhoods. I'm a sucker for these movies, being a young film student I am able to see myself maybe a bit too much in many of these films.
