This movie does not make sense. They keep repeating that the new and old version are one and the same, but the new version does not have the same consciousness as the Matrix. What's the point of being young and famous if it's not you experiencing it? I do think it's interesting that the younger version hated the older version in the same way the older version hated herself, but I don't think the body horror really added anything for me.
