  Absolute bat shit crazy 80s action/sci-fi hybrid that takes place on the streets of Los Angeles. Kyle MacLachlan, flame throwers, aliens, strippers, punks, Ferraris. Part Dark Angel, part Verhoeven, Fallen on PCP, and proto-Dougie Kyle MacLachlan. Go into it blind and have a blast.

  I can't believe this was compared to Silence Of The Lambs. So disappointing. Awful performance from Nicholas Cage and an even worse make-up job (provided by Spirit Halloween).

  Just rewatched every Friday The 13th in order, and this is easily the best one. Special effects from the master Tom Savini, incredible acting from a young Corey Feldman, and out of this world dance moves from Crispin Glover make this one of the all time great slashers.

  2001: A Space Odyssey 1968

  I had the pleasure of watching this at The Hollywood Bowl with a live score by the LA Phillharmonic Orchestra. It was a breath taking experience that the entire audience shared.
  Truly one of the greatest science fiction films of all time. Perfectly shot, acted and directed. I can't believe this came out in 1968.
