Django Unchained 2012
This is the first time I’ve watched this since its theatrical release.
Why in the world did I wait so long to rewatch? First, Western is my favorite genre. Second, dang, this isn’t my fav QT (that spot belongs to Pulp Fiction), but I really feel this is his most admirable directorial effort.
Will be rewatching far sooner than 13 years from now.

A deeply troubling film, and quite possibly Scorsese's masterpiece. Quitely intense buildup throughout with an ending that hurts.
The performances are astounding and committed. The Japanese actors' presentations of humbled and incredible faith is impeccable and heartbreaking.
