The atmosphere of this film is perfectly uncomfortable, and encapsulates the fear and complexities behind the female experience. Anna Kendrick has done such a brilliant job of making sure that the women within this film are not seen as the ones to blame for being made victims. The only person to blame was the despicable man who caused this film to be based on a true story.
