Watched this a few months ago but catching up.
This movie encapsulates everything I’ve been feeling about religion recently. Grateful for the talented writer who articulated things in this script that I’d never known how to. My brain really liked that.

Fighting the urge to throw down a one liner and call it good. I think I’m obligated to reflect and write some real thoughts.
The writers obviously did their mormonism homework. I was impressed and pleased. So much so that I actually saw myself in the sisters. The cadence of the opening conversations with Mr. Reed, the way they responded to his beginning objections, the obligation to stay polite, all of it.
The downside of trusting the writers so much…
