a psychedelic premonitiontion that’s true to the spirit of Hope™️ in recessionary anericaat the end of the world: contradictory, experimental (deeply flawed)confidently doomed, and meandering at 70 mph. the terror and shock of our earths ecosystems really are beautiful in a way that refuses capture or projection despite our desperation and pride. Also yes the movie is VERY funny. but 90% of the laughter i just had to sit through was FAR more grating than the bird screeches which i’m sure nguyen never imagined being in dolby sound lmao.
