Probably one of the coolest iterations and portrayals of death on screen I have ever seen.
The Christian motifs are a lot but not so much where it’s overbearing. It’s an art piece after all.
The plague elements, woah. For 1957 that’s some heavy stuff.
But the story, the story is A1.
With a twist at the end.
I’m a sucker for any Soderbergh flick. This is one of his finest. I really enjoyed the way this film was lit. A movie shot in Las Vegas can sometimes be overrun, but Sodie lights this bad boy perfectly.
It’s got a character for everybody and is just one of those fun, bro movies.
Don Cheadle’s horrific British accent is so perfectly bad in all the best ways.
Brad Pitt, the fit king, carries this movie, but carries it like Steph and the Warriors. Great team around him, but the top dog is Pitt.
