I really liked this. Would’ve been down for slightly more scares and slightly less horniness, but this vampire film definitely sucked in plenty of good ways

honestly a lot of fun. paul and pedro are their usual incredible selves, bc the bar is always high. all the characters are weighed down by mid dialogue at times, but on the whole a fun movie. like just ignore the silly parts and enjoy the colosseum, its not the end of the world to just have fun sometimes

A visual and auditory masterpiece. Maybe the most stunned ive been at visual beauty out of any film, up there with 1917, or avatar if you took loads of edibles. This doesnt quite reach the near perfection of Fury Road, however it doesn’t even try to. A touch lighter in tone, and more humor makes for an engaging sequel/prequel, and genuinely recreates the radiated wasteland vibe nearly to a T, while also giving us glimpses of gas town and bulletfarm which were only alluded to in Fury Road, which was fun and special to see here.  Anya Joy is great as furiosa, despite the high bar set by charlize in Fury Road. This film is driven by chris hemsworth, with easily his best performance to date. George miller has done it again
