What a ride. What a better script to be told through the lens of an iphone 5! I think it is just such a great film! And reminds me, as a film director, that we can do so much with so little, when you have a good idea and passion for it.

The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent 2024
I really liked a lot of things about this film: The premise, the setting, casting, acting, cinematography, camera narrative, to name a few. It felt real and the suspense is done very well. Yet the ending is a bit underwhelming. Overall I liked it, but didn’t move me.

Very moving. It seems like not too much happens yet that is the point! Emotions sneak up on you when you least expect it. It puts us in the shoes of Eunice with such subtlety. I loved the cinematography, production design, the performances of Fernanda Torres and Fernanda Montenegro, and the directorial choices. Don’t know if I’ll be watching it again soon, yet what I felt while watching it will stay with me for some time.
