this director is so fire 😭 i’ll be seated at anything he does on opening night until the day i die. i’m PISSED that this was only in theaters for 4 days near me. it was on my list to go see blind and i would of been blown away :(
such a fun and unique story! not everything worked for me but i appreciate it all conceptually. i absolutely adore how they utilized the creepy ass wooden golem thingy…
this had so many little moments that were FANTASTIC but overall it struggled to do enough with to justify the slow burn we got plot wise. the pacing was so bad and the reveals they kept doing made it seem like they were building up to something bigger… but thankfully it wasn’t too long to begin with i guess :P
