  I’m so excited to see that Peter Parker is finally getting his classic character development, I love where they seem to be going with this new version, with genuine consequences for the moral questions that they pose. Everything that I hoped would happen in this movie did, and it was absolutely cathartic. I won’t spoil anymore, just WOW. Maybe it’s pandering, maybe it’s cheap, but i don’t care, the references to the previous installments were some of the most fun i’ve had at the theatre in a while.

  I am very conflicted. So much of this film is enchanting...yes, I'm talking about Anya-Taylor Joy. I'm disappointed that such an interesting setup devolved into what it did. I can't even pinpoint exactly what went wrong for me, I'm simply left with a sense of lacking. I don't really understand the point of it, which is problematic considering that Mr.Wright clearly had one. This didn’t even feel like Edgar to me, nothing feels special(except for Anya) But, beautiful scenes, beautiful movies, and beautiful stars? I guess that's enough for me.
