  This movie just leaves me feeling crushingly bad for Nic Cage

  There is a reason he is my favorite actor. I will defend him with the same viciousness and fanaticism as a crusader. I don't really think anyone else could pull off this level of Jobian magical realism like that.

  It's all about that one on one

  I always felt this movie doesn't truly start until Arnold is alone against the Predator. Its like the greatest 30 minute short film with over an hour of action movie filler added to the beginning.

  I Still question my decision to not beat people to death for making fun of this movie when it got out.

  Egger understands the Sublime and what it means to horror. He understands how to depict the supernatural in a truly transcendent way. I dig it.
