    No Other Land

    ★★★★½

Imagine a villagers community where people coexist in peace, finding joy in their simple lives despite the challenges and restrictions they face in a remote area. This harmony is shattered when outsiders invade, seizing your land and possessions, imposing their own laws, and forcibly evicting you and your people from homes that have been part of your life for generations.

The situation escalates as these armed intruders, met with rightful resistance, begin to dismantle everything that holds meaning for you…

    The Brutalist

    ★★★

Movies such as 'The Brutalist' possess an inherent merit that endorses diverse interpretations, particularly due to the narratively rich array of themes it seeks to converse on.

For some, it may come off as a poignant portrayal of immigrants grappling with their daily challenges of assimilating into American society and culture.

For others, the writing might resonate as a tribute to the architectural marvels that grace our surroundings today.

For me, I see it as a profound character exploration of…

    The Intouchables

    ★★★½

A celebratory tale about companionship that strives to defy the confinements of age, class and ethnicity.

A compassionate reflection on humanity and what it is like to be loved and cared for, without pity and without pretence.

I also adored the way it illustrates a story about two grown men getting involved in each other's lives, bonding over mutual interests without having physical desires, because Intimacy isn't always about our physical longings, it could be emotional too.

I really liked how cleverly it captures the struggles of an addict, even if it does so in its own unique style. However, I found the tonality and the overall approach to be a bit confusing or rather convoluted.

The film kicks off in a really strange way, and it took me a while to get used to the setup. Then, just when I finally started to feel the vibe, and thought it was about to get rid of the…

A Great Man Doesn't Seek to Lead. He's Called to It. And He Answers

Denis Villeneuve's Dune is a cinematic chef-d'oeuvre. From its staggering sets to its awe-inspiring visuals; on the account of the sheer scale of the presentation, it is no less than an extraordinary accomplishment.

Led by Villeneuve's gifted conception with a substantial back-up from his apprentice (Cinematographer) Greig Fraser. Hans Zimmer comes alongside with his yet another piece of perfection; this guy can't do any wrong, can…

    Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva

    ★★½

You know this was a mistake, yes, an error of judgment from my end. I traveled almost forty miles to watch the first day first show in 3-D, and I did it because I could not have waited any longer, but now it seems all my efforts have gone in vain! I recklessly put all my faith and trust in Bollywood, and into a director whose portfolio thus far, has nothing but coming of age/contemporary love stories, and this is…
