Some sort of cognitive infrastructure is hosted in The Cloud. Techs send petabytes of electronic data into the cloud to find out what happens when you send petabytes of electronic data into The Cloud. The Cloud then draws on humanity’s collective unconscious to create uncanny-valley experiences tailored to specific individuals, based on their history.
The Cloud befriends one particular individual and spins up his very own 3D simulation for him to live in, unbothered by tedious household chores like tidying-up the corridor. Will he someday find his beloved macrame-neutrino woman there? Or will rain-glitching render his Island Metaverse sadly uninhabitable?

Did You Know???
A park and a statue dedicated to the Meat Eater himself can be found in Edmonton on Gateway Boulevard, just off Whyte Avenue, near the site where John Gainer started a butcher shop in Strathcona in 1893, predecessor to Gainer's Meat Company.
The Gainer Block is still standing, next to the former Princess Theatre.
In addition to this movie, The Meat Eater performed with Count Basie, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and Duke Ellington before his untimely death in 1992.
